Excellent Service, perfect place to stay, would recommend and stay here again!!!

We booked this for our honeymoon and it was Excellent service from start to finish! We were very close to Karon beach which is lovely! The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of good quality tasty food and best omelette I’ve had at a hotel. The dinner restaurant was top quality. The shuttle service around the hotel and to the beach was very efficient and absolutely needed. I booked a massage at the spa and it was also a great experience. The hotel was very clean and the staff made extra effort at every point. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We felt very relaxed, the ambiance was great and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend to our friends and book again in future!

Nice hotel.

Good afternoon. Mandarava is one of the best hotels on Karon. A large green area. Several pools. There are free sun beds.))) The staff is very friendly. Good room cleaning! The bathroom is large and dry.

Some of the reception staff are not competent! We asked for a quiet room. We were settled near the reception and next to the restaurant. That's the noisiest room. The next day they were moved to a quiet room. The mattresses in the room are hard. We asked for an extra mattress. He saved us. And also, a wish to the restaurant, change the oil. Now it's more like margarine. Tasteless! Scrambled eggs and omelets are constantly burnt!

The room was spacious, perfect location for a view as well as pool being very quiet & private with its own pool bar. Staff were so lovely & helpful. Breakfast & cocktails were delicious.

The walking around resort as well as down to the town is hard if you struggle due to the location on the hill. But saying that if you are fit & don't mind walking it is lovely.

Very good, relaxing and nice facilities.

Complimentary Breakfast was incredible. Facilities were great. Spa was lovely but had a cost. Happy hour cocktails by the pool was very nice. bathroom was nice and a tall shower was much appreciate as I'm a very tall person. Bathroom was nice and the room was clean. Staff were very friendly.

The room would have the aircon turn off when you left it, so would often get back to a very hot and humid room. I had issues at check in since I didn't bring the same card that I paid with, resulting in having to cancel and rebook on the day and waiting a long time for the refund to hit my account, so was out of pocket a lot of money for a couple of weeks. We expected a more private setting for the room we booked, but it ended up sharing a balcony with a neighbour only divided by some wooden planks. The neighbours across also had a view straight into our room and balcony.

Location, very clean, superb breakfast, choice of pools, flip flops and beach bag in room to use , room cleaned daily

More regular bus to town although only 15 minutes to walk

Everything! From check-in to check-out every staff member helped make our time easy and carefree! Loved the use of the cart service to go around the property and into town as an alternative after a long day walking.

Favourite hotel.

2nd stay here. Amazing jungle-like grounds with several pools to choose from. The staff are super friendly and really can't do enough for you. Rooms are great with really luxurious bathrooms. This time we chose to upgrade to a private pool villa for the last 2 nights and that really topped of our stay.

Wonderful and relaxing had a great time!

Fantastic welcome from staff and the room was very spacious and light! Really great relaxing accommodation you cannot fault the Mandarava. Reasonably priced and very clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

If you want to be walking distance to restaurants and bars then this is possibly not the hotel for you.

Good for your glutes

The hotel is built into the hillside and the more you upgrade the higher you go (with no lifts). We were on the first level room 1209, and had 101 steps down to the street level. For those who couldn’t manage the steep climb there was a complimentary tuk-tuk providing lifts up and down. Our room was excellent, with all round panoramic views, but the sun set on our balcony which made it boiling and too hot to sit out later in the day. But you cant have one without the other! Pools great, but service by them a bit lacking. Food in restaurant excellent and not too expensive. House keeping did a fabulous job also. Hotel not too far out of town, about 10 minute walk, but there are couple of fabulous restaurants on the walk out if you don’t want to trek too far in 38 degrees.

Lighting not brilliant on the steps at night. Could have also provided a more 5* service by adult pool.

5-10 min walk to the beach but was a nice stroll even though uphill on the way back. Bus supplied If needed. Hotel is set in lush beautiful grounds and breakfast was great. Lovely idea to put the beach bag in bedroom.

Pools even though they have 4 were still a little too busy..drinks a little pricey outside happy hour.. airport transfer 400 baht more than taxi but not able to get taxi for return.

Beautiful and relaxing stay.

The staff make the hotel. I met a young man called fook and he was very helpful and made me feel at home. If you don’t like hills then this is your not hotel! There is a bus that can take you around the hotel.
