Very good, relaxing and nice facilities.

Complimentary Breakfast was incredible. Facilities were great. Spa was lovely but had a cost. Happy hour cocktails by the pool was very nice. bathroom was nice and a tall shower was much appreciate as I'm a very tall person. Bathroom was nice and the room was clean. Staff were very friendly.

The room would have the aircon turn off when you left it, so would often get back to a very hot and humid room. I had issues at check in since I didn't bring the same card that I paid with, resulting in having to cancel and rebook on the day and waiting a long time for the refund to hit my account, so was out of pocket a lot of money for a couple of weeks. We expected a more private setting for the room we booked, but it ended up sharing a balcony with a neighbour only divided by some wooden planks. The neighbours across also had a view straight into our room and balcony.

very nice hotel complex. Our room must have been at the highest point of it. We had a marvellous view from our balcony.

The property was beautiful and staff exceptional. It’s close to the main town but still quiet.

Nice hotel.

Good afternoon. Mandarava is one of the best hotels on Karon. A large green area. Several pools. There are free sun beds.))) The staff is very friendly. Good room cleaning! The bathroom is large and dry.

Some of the reception staff are not competent! We asked for a quiet room. We were settled near the reception and next to the restaurant. That's the noisiest room. The next day they were moved to a quiet room. The mattresses in the room are hard. We asked for an extra mattress. He saved us. And also, a wish to the restaurant, change the oil. Now it's more like margarine. Tasteless! Scrambled eggs and omelets are constantly burnt!

Beautiful resort to spend poolside

We had a great stay at Mandarava. The staff were so welcoming from the start especially of our 4 month old baby and really made the trip. The location is beautiful set on jungly hills and resort set out over various areas set around different pools. The pool view rooms are amazing and a great option with a baby. Food was great and we made the most of the pool bars. Breakfast was quite extensive. Can easily walk into town or get a cart in. Would recommend staying. We were less of fans about Karon beach however spent majority of the time in the resort.

The room was spacious, perfect location for a view as well as pool being very quiet & private with its own pool bar. Staff were so lovely & helpful. Breakfast & cocktails were delicious.

The walking around resort as well as down to the town is hard if you struggle due to the location on the hill. But saying that if you are fit & don't mind walking it is lovely.

Lovely place to stay if you want to visit Karon Beach

Location, very clean, superb breakfast, choice of pools, flip flops and beach bag in room to use , room cleaned daily

Excellent Service, perfect place to stay, would recommend and stay here again!!!

We booked this for our honeymoon and it was Excellent service from start to finish! We were very close to Karon beach which is lovely! The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of good quality tasty food and best omelette I’ve had at a hotel. The dinner restaurant was top quality. The shuttle service around the hotel and to the beach was very efficient and absolutely needed. I booked a massage at the spa and it was also a great experience. The hotel was very clean and the staff made extra effort at every point. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We felt very relaxed, the ambiance was great and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend to our friends and book again in future!

Good, but with points to improve

- Several swimming pools - Room was excellent - Breakfast good, but could be very busy - Very friendly staff at check-in and check-out

- Restaurant with the best view was only open at night. Would be great as an all-day restaurant - People reserved their spots at the pool with towels - Services do not feel like 5*. One of the many examples: At 2pm there were no fresh coconuts available. After 2 min walk I could just get them from another bar. - Price vs quality if you compare this hotel to exclusive Bali/Bangkok/Vietnam 5* hotels does not match

Wonderful

The property is overall wonderful: beautiful, big, clean rooms; lovely staff (especially at the restaurant); good facilities - including 5 pools; close to Karon beach (15 min walking); delicious breakfast (including option to have your bf packed) and nice restaurants; great spa area - had one of the best massages ever (at a very decent price).

Some Russian guests were allowed to have a loud party at the nearby pool in the afternoon; little privacy (the windows of our room faced other villas and the spa); no iron in the room (not informed if it was provided at the reception).

I would come back for sure

Huge resort with a lot of tress,views, pools and bars and restaurants to enjoy while walking around .. the place is so relaxing and the staff are very helpful.

The need to call for a shuttle cart to get around as it is very confusing to walk your way around even while using the property map .. more clear sings with clear directions of the facilities will save 10-15 mins of lost walking daily .. stairs are too much and everywhere as the resort is located on the slope of a hill/mountain. So you will get fatigue and lost easily every 2 mins if you choose to walk around
